Sea Tank Chartering AS – our policy states that we shall be a strong and reliable company in the environmental management in our industry.

We’re going to run a healthy business with a strong focus on the environment, society and the responsibilities of the employees. The well-being, confidence and a collective environmental responsibility will characterize our daily operations, and we’re going to continually improve our environmental work, and further adhere to the local environmental laws where we operate our business.

Environmental aspects are the activities, products and services that can affect the environment (all the influence of the environment that owe your company’s business). Significant aspects are conditions that have a significant environmental impact.

In Sea Tank Chartering AS, we have many different objects that perform an operation that affects the environment in different ways. We consume resources through purchasing and transportation. Sea Tank Chartering AS execute chartering and operation of a large ships fleet and consume fuel and emit CO2 & NOx out to air, sea and land.

Out from our environment, we have defined the following significant environmental aspects:

• Transport and emissions of CO2 and NOx
• General operation of ships
• Fuel consumption
• Energy consumption

Management is provided with monthly updates

Sea Tank Chartering AS shall be able to prove that company have reviewed compliance towards statutory requirements. This indicate that the Sea Tank Chartering AS must consider consistency between laws and regulations, operating permits and emission permits, contracts and standards.

Sea Tank Chartering AS is member of NORWEGIAN NOx fund and has been a member since the start in 2008 and will continue as a member.
Within March 2017 – Sea Tank Chartering AS has two completed projects.
Both projects will reduce the footprint by our service, all this has been gained in cooperation with the Norwegian NOx fond
